Abstract

Branding is the process of establishing a specific identity, meaning, and perception so that a person, product, or village becomes easily recognizable and memorable. The limited ability of the Sukamandi Village community to craft compelling narratives and package village assets into informative, shareable digital content prompted this community service initiative, which focuses on utilizing storytelling and creative video production to build the village's identity. The activity aimed to enhance participants' understanding and skills in transforming local attraction, community activities, and local values into effective stories and video content for promoting the tourism village and small businesses. The program was conducted through interactive lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in story ideation and the creation of simple digital content. The target audience consisted of community members and village officials involved in promoting the village's potential. The activity's impact was evaluated via questionnaires completed by 20 respondents. The results showed that 75.83% of respondents "strongly agreed" and 24.17% "agreed" that the storytelling and video content creation training provided direct benefits in enhancing the village's digital promotion capacity.
