Abstract

Communication barriers between individuals with hearing and speech impairments and the general public remain a frequently encountered issue, particularly within educational environments. The limited mastery of sign language by the broader community prevents interactions from running effectively. This community service activity aims to provide mentoring on the use of the ISYARASA web application (Sign Language Translator Application for the Hearing and Speech Impaired) as an inclusive communication assistive medium for teachers at SLB B Yakut Purwokerto. The implementation method utilizes a participatory mentoring approach, which encompasses partner needs identification, interactive training, technical assistance, as well as monitoring and evaluation. Through this activity, the teachers of SLB B are able to optimize the use of the ISYARASA web platform as an independent communication tool, enhance the quality of interaction with students, and support the creation of a more inclusive educational environment
