Leadership
Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief leads the journal’s editorial direction, oversees editorial quality, ensures adherence to publication ethics, coordinates strategic journal development, and makes final editorial decisions. This role is appointed by the publisher and is not open through regular membership application.
Editorial
Associate Editor
Associate Editors support manuscript screening, reviewer selection, peer review coordination, manuscript evaluation, editorial recommendations, and quality control within the journal’s main research areas.
Editorial and Review
Member of the Editorial and Reviewer Board
Members of the Editorial and Reviewer Board contribute to manuscript review, provide scholarly input, support journal development, promote ethical publishing practices, and strengthen the journal’s academic network.
Areas of Expertise
The journal welcomes experts with strong academic or professional backgrounds in one or more of the following areas:
General Qualifications
- Have expertise relevant to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, intelligent systems, computational intelligence, or related fields.
- Hold an academic or professional position at a university, research institution, industry research unit, or professional organization.
- Have a record of scholarly publications, research projects, professional experience, or technical expertise relevant to the journal scope.
- Possess an active academic profile, such as ORCID, Google Scholar, Scopus Author ID, Web of Science ResearcherID, institutional profile, or personal academic website.
- Demonstrate commitment to ethical publishing, confidentiality, objectivity, academic integrity, and constructive scholarly communication.
- Be willing to complete assigned editorial or review tasks within the agreed timeframe.
Responsibilities of Editorial Members
Maintain Academic Integrity
Editorial members must uphold research integrity, avoid conflicts of interest, respect confidentiality, and comply with the journal’s publication ethics and malpractice policies.
Support Rigorous Peer Review
Members involved in review activities are expected to provide objective, evidence-based, constructive, and timely evaluations that help improve manuscript quality.
Promote Journal Quality
Editorial members are encouraged to support the journal’s academic development, attract high-quality submissions, recommend qualified reviewers, and contribute to the improvement of editorial standards.
Respect Editorial Independence
Editorial and review decisions must be based only on scholarly merit, methodological validity, ethical compliance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal scope.

Complete the Application Form
Applicants may complete the official editorial membership application form provided by the journal. The form should contain accurate academic, professional, and contact information.

Editorial Evaluation
The editorial office will evaluate the applicant’s expertise, publication record, research area, academic profile, editorial or reviewing experience, professional integrity, and suitability for the requested role.
Appointment and Confirmation
Accepted applicants will receive an official confirmation from the journal. Appointments may be reviewed periodically based on contribution, performance, editorial needs, and journal development priorities.

Selection and Appointment Policy
Editorial membership in BJAIDS is based on academic expertise, research relevance, publication record, editorial or reviewing experience, professional integrity, international representation, and willingness to contribute to the journal’s development. Submission of an application does not guarantee appointment.
The journal reserves the right to approve, reject, postpone, or review any application based on editorial needs, subject coverage, quality standards, ethical considerations, and the strategic development of the journal.
